My Approach

I practice a holistic, mindfulness-based approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? Have you been recently diagnosed with a health condition that requires you to make changes in your diet and lifestyle? I will create a bio-individualized program to help you restore balance in your life.

One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique need. My programs evolve with the client; nothing is pre-set.

While I do have a certain body of information to share with you, I don’t have previously formulated “lesson plans” or a static one-size-fits-all program. I create the agendas for each session individually, after the preceding session, so that I can customize it to fit where you are in the program and how far you are progressing with your action steps.

As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole. My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins or to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to learn mindfulness-based strategies that create a balanced, happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding
